Description:  It's dark half the day.  If you've never shot your firearm in the dark, and your concern is someone breaking into your house at night, this is your chance to do it.

Taught by certified pistol instructors, this course is designed for shooters who know how to load, shoot, and reload their guns and who want to learn how to deploy their firearms in the dark.

This is not a "Draw and holster" type course. No holster experience needed.  A home defense type safe is recommended

Shooters will learn 4 common flashlight holds (if your equipment allows it).

Safety Gear: 

• Eye and Electronic hearing protection (Like the Howard Leight Impact Sport) are required. Non-negotiable safety rule
• A brimmed hat is required.- non negotiable safety rule
  

Roughly 100 rounds recommended, but not required.  Bring what you can afford to shoot.

WML (weapon mounted light) is not required.

Night Sights- recommended, but not required.

A small pistol safe (if your store your gun in a safe) is recommended but not required. Recommended safes here.

Low Light/No LIght 102 builds on the skills you learned in LLLNL101 and continues to develop your defensive shooting skills in low light and no light conditions. We will be continuing to work off the table and out of your safe.  We will continue to work the 4 most common flashlight holds and will integrate barrier shooting and malfunction clearance.  We will add a scenario/stress drill, as well.  This one can't be missed.

Equipment you'll need:

• functioning, service caliber firearm (semi or revolver, doesn't matter)
• at least 3 magazines, or 5 speed loaders
• small safe that will fit your gun
• The same Handheld flashlight that you used in 101 WITH the Thyrm Switchback ring
• Weapon mounted light
• Night Sights (optional)
• Eye and ear protection
• A brimmed hat that is compatible with your hearing protection

You'll need about 100 rounds.  Bring what you can afford to shoot. The important thing is the training and not just making the gun go bang

Concerned about the bad guy breaking into your house in the dark? Why haven't you shot your long gun in the dark?

Low Light No Light 201 focuses on using your long gun in the dark.  The best home defense guns are not handguns, they're long guns (shotguns and rifles) and to use them proficiently in the dark, you'll need to train with them in the dark.

Attendance in LLNL101 or LLNL102 is not required.

This is not a NODS shoot.

Equipment needed: 

• Eye and Ear Protection (electronic required so you can hear instructions and range commands- email us for economical options). Must have electronic hearing protection. This is a non-negotiable safety rule.
• Brimmed Hat (protection against flying brass)
• 200 rounds of ammo recommended, but not required.  Bring what you can shoot. Learning the techniques is more important making the gun go ""Bang""
• weapon mounted light
• Handheld flashlight
• weather appropriate clothing

Class held in all weather conditions (if we can get to the range safely, we're having the class)
