The most important class that a gun owner can take.  If you take no other instruction, take this course.

This is a four-hour course for safe gun handling that is conducted in the classroom only. 

Students are taught NRA’s three rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearms accidents; firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports. 

Students will receive the NRA Home Firearm Safety handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, course completion certificate.

Want handgun safety training, but not sure you actually want to go to the range?  This is the class for you! This course is roughly 2 hours.

This course teaches basic marksmanship fundamentals and firearm safety using a simulated pistol with a resetting trigger and laser to indicate where the shots hit. 

No range is needed with this simulator training course. We are not using Live firearms. Only simulator units.

The NRA Pistol Marksmanship Simulator Training course teaches the fundamentals of sight alignment, trigger control, grip and breath control. 

At the completion of the course, an NRA participation certificate is awarded. 

Students may attend this course as a basis to decide whether or not they would like to follow-up by taking the full-length Basic Pistol course with live fire, or to simply learn to improve their marksmanship skills.

The NRA Range Safety Officer program is for people who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. This is a classroom based course.  

Course content consists of RSO's roles and responsibilities, range standard operating procedures, range inspection and range rules, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, and Range Safety Briefings which include procedures to follow in the case of an emergency.  

RSO candidates must be 21 years of age. 

Bring: Food, drink, writing utensils, eyes and ear protection. No firearms required

Learn how to clean your handgun the "right" way.  Taught by certified firearms instructors, this course is designed for all skills levels and will teach the proper method to effectively and safely clean your hand gun.  Semi-autos and revolvers are both welcome in this course.

Ever wonder how to clean your rifle? Here's you chance to work with an instructor guiding you through the process of disassembling your rifle for a good thorough cleaning.  All types of rifles welcome.

Learn how to clean your shotgun the "right" way.  Taught by certified firearms instructors, this course is designed for all skills levels and will teach the proper method to effectively and safely clean your shotgun.  Don't forget your choke wrench, if you have removable chokes.
